Great to meet you!
My educational background consists of B.S. in Psychology from UC Berkeley, and M.S. in MFT Counseling from CSU East Bay. I have experience working in educational settings and community mental health. My practice integrates multicultural and queer-affirming frameworks, with particular attention to the impact of systemic oppression on mental health and wellbeing. Drawing on my own experience as an Iranian immigrant and member of the LGBTQ+ community, I specialize in working with immigrants, queer clients, and those navigating the intersection of queer identity and traditional cultural or family systems.
