Great to meet you!

I love to empower people to achieve their goals, and to develop the tools to solve their own problems. I believe we all have room for improvement and the potential to be better people. My life experiences have prepared me to compassionately serve those who have faced extreme challenges in their lives. I understand what it is like to be a single mother and employee and part-time student. I can understand a person who has struggled with substance abuse or other addictive behaviors.

My approach to therapy

I have experience working with people with a wide variety of challenges. I am accepting and non-judgmental. Primarily, I use a person-centered approach to therapy and I utilize CBT and Motivational Interviewing.

What you can expect from me

We can address an individual's strengths and weaknesses, finding out what fits in their life and what areas need improvement. My strengths are my patience and my listening skills. I want you to feel hopeful and to feel you have been heard!
