Great to meet you!

With twenty-one years of experience as a licensed therapist and twenty-five years in the field overall, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to the people I work with. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from St. Leo University and a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Master's Level Addiction Professional (MCAP). My background includes thirteen years at a residential outdoor therapeutic program for teenage girls ages 12–17 and ten years working with a Native American Tribe in Florida — experiences that shaped my deep appreciation for diverse perspectives and the resilience of the human spirit. I genuinely enjoy working with individuals and families and am committed to creating a positive, supportive space for everyone I have the privilege of working with.

My approach to therapy

I utilize a solution-focused, strength-based approach rooted in the belief that each person already holds the capacity to achieve their goals and create the life they desire. My style is positive, open, empowering, and empathetic. I see therapy as a true partnership — I meet you where you are in your journey, honor the trust you place in me, and walk alongside you as you explore meaningful ways to grow and create change. I believe therapy is a wonderful opportunity, and I bring that sense of possibility into every session.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting to know you — your story, your strengths, and what you're hoping to work toward. Expect a warm, judgment-free conversation where I'll listen closely and begin to understand what matters most to you. Together, we'll start identifying your goals and laying the groundwork for our work ahead. My aim is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path forward.
