Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) & Licensed Addictions Counselor, (LAC). I work with individuals ages 18 - 92. Services include but not limited: social anxiety/anxiety/panic, depression, PTSD, bipolar, communication, boundaries, relationship issues/loss/formation, ADHD, Autism, creating social networks, and LGBTQIA+, transgender, grief/loss, terminal illness support .

My approach to therapy

Evidenced Based Therapy:

There is no therapeutic approach that is a one size fits all. In my professional experience, most of us suffer from cognitive distortions/rumination/stories we tell ourselves in our heads/worst case scenario. Due to this I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - CBT frequently in my practice to help you change distorted thinking into thoughts that serve you well. I also use Person Centered; Trauma Focused; Motivational Interviewing; Mindfulness Based and more.

What you can expect from me

You will leave each and every session with actionable steps/homework/handouts to review, practice, implement, reflect on between sessions. Next sessions we will reflect your weeks high/low points. What did/didn't go well. Do we need to utilize another approach?

I will help you accumulate individual "Skill Set" which is unique to you & comes from the action step items YOU have found work best for you. I will keep track of them for you until they become habit forming for you.
