Great to meet you!

In 1998 I received my Bachelors of Arts in English from Florida State University. In 2005 I received my Masters of Arts in Counseling with an emphasis in School Guidance, Mental Health, and Marriage and Family. I love being a counselor. I have provided counseling in different settings and worked with a variety of clients. I am a dedicated and supportive person and I know with great collaboration we can have a great working relationship.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe that the client therapist relationship is very important. I want what you want. I am here to help you. I love person centered counseling because it focuses on what the client needs, working through their own problems relying on their strengths and skills that they may not have tapped into. Solution focused is another approach I like because it helps the client focus more on solutions and less dwelling on the problem.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to learn new skills and knowledge which will better assist them in their day to day functioning. I am here to help and provide the assistance that the client is looking for to ensure that they have a successful and fulfilling life.
