Great to meet you!

Choosing to begin therapy is a meaningful step, and I'm honored to support clients as they navigate life's challenges. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas, I bring more than 20 years of experience working with adolescents, adults, seniors, and families. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish, making it easier for clients to express themselves in the language in which they feel most comfortable. My background includes over two decades as a school counselor and the past five years in private practice, giving me a deep understanding of the emotional, relational, and life challenges people face across different stages of life.

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, struggling with difficult emotions, or simply looking for a safe space to grow, I strive to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel heard and understood.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness-Based (MBCT), and Positive Psychology to help you build practical coping skills, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. Together, we'll identify your strengths, explore what's getting in the way of the life you want, and develop strategies that support your goals.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you'll have the opportunity to share your story, discuss your concerns, and ask any questions you may have about the therapy process. Together, we'll explore what has brought you to therapy, identify your goals, and develop a personalized plan to help you move forward.

I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe, heard, and supported. My goal is to help you feel comfortable being open and vulnerable while knowing that your experiences will be met with compassion and respect.

As therapy progresses, we'll work collaboratively to build on your strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and overcome the challenges that may be holding you back. Together, we'll take meaningful steps toward improving your emotional well-being and achieving the goals that matter most to you.
