Great to meet you!

I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I came to this profession as a second career after working in data analysis and IT. I completed my education at Rush University, MSN and DNP. I have worked in an integrated health clinic, providing a wholistic approach to patient care, I transitioned to providing medication management and brief psychotherapy services to the same population. I am excited to continue providing whole person evidence based psychiatric care.

My approach to therapy

My goal to create a space where patients can share their experiences and concerns without judgment. I take time to listen to better understand each patient’s needs. It is my goal for the patient to leave an appointment with a solid understanding of the treatment plan and the confidence to take the appropriate steps to achieve success.

What you can expect from me

My areas of specialty include, management of LGBTQIA+ mental health, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, psychotic disorders, OCD, substance use treatment, and PTSD.

I want my clients to leave each session with the confidence to implement the plan we have created together.
