Great to meet you!

Great to meet you! I’m Mario (or Tomario), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 14 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families through life's toughest challenges. Whether you're navigating career stress, relationship difficulties, family conflicts, depression, or substance use, my goal is to serve as a supportive catalyst for positive change in your life.

My approach to therapy

Working with me means having a dedicated partner who meets you exactly where you are—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. My practice is guided by three core values: competence, self-determination, and respect for diversity.

I draw from evidence-based methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Because real growth happens between our appointments, we will collaborate on practical, real-world action steps for you to practice outside of sessions.

What you can expect from me

You can always count on me to be punctual, professional, and fully present. In our sessions, I ask open-ended questions to understand your unique story, provide clear and constructive feedback, and maintain a warm, non-judgmental atmosphere. Whether working with children, teenagers, or adults, we will move at a pace that honors your goals and leads to lasting change.
