Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Addiction Counselor, Doctor of Social Work, and Doctor of Theology, I provide compassionate, collaborative, and person-centered care through a holistic, trauma-informed, and spiritual approach.

I work with adults who have experienced trauma and are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, substance use, and co-occurring mental health concerns. I understand that trauma can affect your emotional, mental, physical, relational, and spiritual well-being. Together, we will explore how your experiences have shaped your thoughts, feelings, relationships, and coping patterns while building safety, healthy coping skills, emotional regulation, and meaningful boundaries.

My goal is to create a supportive environment where you can move at your own pace, feel empowered in your healing, and work toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is holistic, trauma-informed, person-centered, and collaborative. I recognize that healing involves more than addressing symptoms; it also means understanding the experiences, relationships, environments, and patterns that have shaped how you think, feel, cope, and connect with others.

I integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches based on your individual needs, strengths, and goals. Together, we may explore underlying patterns, identify triggers, strengthen emotional regulation, develop healthier coping strategies, and challenge thoughts or behaviors that may no longer serve you.

I believe you are the expert on your life. My role is not to tell you how to live it, but to provide clinical insight, support, accountability, and a safe space for exploration and growth. When meaningful to you, spirituality and faith can also be incorporated into the therapeutic process. Ultimately, our work is designed to help you heal, gain clarity, strengthen your sense of self, and create sustainable change in a way that feels authentic to you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin building a therapeutic relationship while gaining a better understanding of you, your experiences, and what brings you to therapy. We will complete a comprehensive assessment that explores your current concerns, relevant history, strengths, challenges, support systems, and the areas of your life you would like to improve.

Just as importantly, we will focus on engagement and building rapport. I want to learn about your preferences, what has or has not worked for you in the past, and what you need to feel comfortable and supported in the therapeutic process.

From there, we will collaboratively develop a treatment plan based on your identified needs, personal goals, and priorities. You will have an active voice in determining the direction and pace of treatment. My goal for our first session is for you to leave feeling heard, respected, and clear about how we can move forward together
