Great to meet you!

Seeking therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to make that step feel as comfortable as possible. I strive to create a warm, genuine, and judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, trauma, grief, depression, stress, or a major life transition, you don't have to navigate it alone.

I believe therapy should feel like a conversation—not an interrogation. My style is approachable, collaborative, and down-to-earth. We'll work together to understand what's keeping you stuck, develop practical tools for everyday life, and help you build lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.

Outside of therapy, I run a mini-pig rescue in South Texas, an experience that has taught me patience, flexibility, and the importance of meeting every individual with compassion and without judgment. Those same values guide the work I do with every client.

Professionally, I bring experience from counseling, medical social work, hospice care, and trauma-informed treatment. I enjoy working with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, PTSD, grief, burnout, women's issues, chronic stress, and significant life transitions. My goal is simple: to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Every person brings a unique story, so I tailor treatment to your individual needs, strengths, and goals rather than relying on a single method.

My work integrates evidence-based approaches including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and relational, trauma-informed care. Together, we'll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, process difficult experiences, strengthen coping skills, and build healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

Whether you're healing from trauma, managing anxiety, processing grief, navigating relationship challenges, or adjusting to life's unexpected changes, my goal is to provide practical tools while creating a safe therapeutic relationship where meaningful healing can occur. I believe therapy should leave you feeling understood, challenged in supportive ways, and more confident in your ability to move forward.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. There is no pressure to tell your entire story or have everything figured out before you begin. We'll discuss what's bringing you to therapy, explore your goals, review your history at a pace that feels comfortable, and talk about what you hope will be different in your life.

My priority is creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard. I'll answer your questions, explain the therapy process, and work with you to develop an initial plan that reflects your needs and goals.

By the end of our first session, I hope you'll leave feeling supported, understood, and confident that you have a partner who is invested in helping you navigate whatever challenges brought you to therapy.
