Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed mental health counselor with over 10 years of clinical experience in various settings including inpatient residential, therapeutic foster care, community outpatient, and community crisis response. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, ADHD, oppositional behaviors, as well as various other diagnoses. I have been trained in EMDR, Trauma Focused CBT, and the Parenting with Love and Limits program.

My approach to therapy

The majority of my work utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients improve self-regulation, develop coping and communication skills, and learn problem solving techniques so they can adapt and overcome all of the challenges that life hands to them. I also enjoy working with adults using trauma focused approaches including EMDR to help them reduce the impact that past trauma has in their present lives.

What you can expect from me

Client’s can expect a judgment free experience and gain the understanding that their past does not define who they are or dictate what they can do in the future. Humor is definitely a part of my practice because laughter helps us make it through our days and everything is more enjoyable with a smile!
