Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, National Board-Certified Counselor, with additional training in individual and couples counseling. I see individuals throughout the lifespan, children, teenagers, adults, and couples. I have a master’s degree in human development counseling and a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

My approach to therapy

You can expect me to be open and engaged in the therapy session. We will spend time getting to know you better, not just your problems. Both with individuals and couples it is about understanding ourselves better, building meaning in our lives, having humor, joy, and creating deep relationships where we can be ourselves. I treat depression, anxiety, changes in life stress, couples and co – parenting, self-harm, substance use disorders, grief, and trauma.

What you can expect from me

I focus on attachment in session, meaning in part, that you can feel comfortable and engaged in the session. Free to be yourself and that I am actively with you, not just a friend in the room. You can expect that feedback is for you and what you are going through, not something from a book or worksheet. I am consistently open to feedback and happy to discuss how therapy and I can change to meet your needs and wants.
