Toni Caldwell

I am a licensed professional counselor based in Houston, Texas, with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s most challenging moments. My background includes 10 years as a high school guidance counselor and 7 years in private practice, where I’ve had the privilege of working with adolescents, couples, and adults from diverse backgrounds.

My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, substance use, relationship and marital concerns, domestic violence, self-harm, and stress management. I am deeply committed to creating a safe, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences and work toward meaningful change. Whether you're navigating a personal crisis, seeking to strengthen your relationships, or simply looking for support, I bring compassion, professionalism, and evidence-based strategies to help you meet your goals.

My approach to counseling is client-centered, collaborative, and strengths-based, grounded in the belief that each individual has the capacity for growth and healing when supported in a safe and affirming space.

In our first session, we’ll begin with introductions and take time to discuss what brings you to counseling in a supportive and nonjudgmental space. I’ll guide you through a brief assessment to better understand your background and current concerns, and together we’ll begin to identify meaningful goals for our work together. This session is about building a foundation of trust and clarity, so you can feel comfortable and empowered as we move forward in the therapeutic process.
