Great to meet you!

Many people express struggling with beliefs such as "I'm not good enough," and patterns of worry such as "imposter syndrome," especially if they grew up in a critical household. Perhaps something at work recently has now kicked off this familiar pattern of thoughts, or made it worse. I help people who are currently experiencing stress, adjustment to a recent change, depression, and anxiety. Additional populations I see includes those with a history of trauma, diagnosed with ADHD, as well as those who were raised in immigrant families. As a second-generation Asian American who was raised by immigrant parents from China, I consider the struggle of my clients in the context of their culture, family, and experiences.

My approach to therapy

With your goals and strengths in mind from the start, I often utilize a combination of insight-oriented, evidence-based practices, psycho-education, and experiential exercises in our sessions. I am also able to provide EMDR if appropriate. However, I encourage all my clients to provide feedback and thoughts in our work together to best tailor treatment to you.

What you can expect from me
