Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps people better understand themselves, especially when it comes to emotions, stress, and patterns that feel hard to break. I’ve worked across inpatient, PHP/IOP, and outpatient settings, which has shaped how I support clients in different stages of life. Many of my clients are doing well on the outside but feel overwhelmed or stuck internally. I create a space where you can be honest, slow things down, and make sense of what’s going on. My goal is to help you not just talk about things, but actually understand and apply what you’re learning.

My approach to therapy

My approach focuses on helping you understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I often introduce what I call the “cycle of comfort,” where we stay in familiar patterns because they feel predictable, even when they no longer serve us. Together, we build awareness so you can start making different choices with more confidence over time. Therapy with me is interactive, meaning some sessions are reflective while others focus on learning and practicing skills you can use in real life. I may also give small, manageable homework or reflection prompts to help you continue the work outside of session.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a space to share what’s been going on and what brought you to therapy, without pressure to have everything figured out. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, patterns, and current stressors so we can identify where to start. You can expect a calm, supportive environment where you feel heard and understood. By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer idea of next steps and what working together may look like. My goal is for you to leave feeling more grounded and comfortable continuing the process.
