Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 5 years of experience specializing in psychotherapy with BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) individuals and communities. My approach is culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness. Together, we’ll focus on creating real change — developing practical tools, building confidence in your decisions, and helping you feel more grounded in who you are, in a space where you don’t have to explain everything just to be understood.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and client-centered. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also drawing from trauma-informed practices to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

I tailor my style to each person—some sessions may focus on building coping skills, while others may involve exploring deeper patterns or past experiences. I work at your pace and always prioritize your sense of safety and agency. Whether we're addressing anxiety, trauma, or life stress, my goal is to support meaningful, lasting change that aligns with your values and goals.

What you can expect from me

As a therapist with 5 years of experience in CBT and trauma-informed care, I focus on creating a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and empowered. Clients often leave sessions with practical tools to manage thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, as well as a clearer understanding of themselves.
