Great to meet you!

I have a Master of Arts in counseling (2007) and I am also a fully certified school counselor as well. (2007) I am currently a Board Certified Counselor in the state of Texas (License # 78036) I have a Bachelor of Science with a focus in Interdisciplinary Studies. (2004) I have 14 years experience as a counselor.

My approach to therapy

I am honored to assist clients in their personal journey to wellness. As a guide, I join individual's in their pursuit of a more gratifying life by understanding how our patterns of behavior often impair our thinking and lead to broken relationships, unsatisfying lives and unhappiness. Through CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) clients are often able to understand the how and why behind their patterns and develop new thought processes that aid them into becoming who they want to be.

What you can expect from me

As a therapist, I hope to partner with clients in the process of gaining greater self-awareness through life experiences that lead to increased confidence, self-esteem, independence, mental health, and the capacity to effectively navigate the complex challenges of life. While some clients need only a few counseling sessions to achieve these goals, others may require more. I want clients to maintain control of their options and their therapeutic goals. We will work together through the process.
