Great to meet you!

Great to meet you! As a board-certified licensed drug and alcohol counselor as well as a certified clinical supervisor, I believe prioritizing mental health is key to happiness and stability in life. Seeking help can be one of the hardest parts, so congratulations on taking that step! You may have recognized that there are patterns in your life, ways of responding that no longer serve you. Like many of my clients you have have experienced challenging relationships with your parents, who may have tried their best, but did not meet your emotional needs. You may have used substances to numb the pain. You are ready to commit to your healing and recovery.

My approach to therapy

You would find me showing up as a real person. Listening deeply to you to ensure you are understood and heard. Asking you questions that helps you to connect how your past may be impacting your now. We also use practical and effective tools to increase your capacity to respond to life's challenges in ways you feel the most proud.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to leave each session feeling heard and having practical tools to help you respond effectively to your daily life's challenges. You will find hope and deep meaning as you move forward to embrace a life of deeper connections, meaning, and resilience.
