Great to meet you!

I’m Anthonia (but you can call me Tonia), a licensed professional counselor with a background in education and a deep commitment to helping high-functioning adults feel more emotionally aligned, less overwhelmed, and fully supported. Originally from Houston and now living between Houston and Chicago, I provide virtual therapy to clients across Texas.

I earned my Master’s in Counseling and spent several years as a school counselor before transitioning into private practice. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, burnout, emotional fatigue, relationship dynamics, life transitions, and ADHD-related challenges. My clients are often the ones everyone turns to—but who are silently carrying a lot themselves.

My approach to therapy

My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with mindfulness, emotional insight, and values-based work. Therapy with me is a collaborative space where you don’t have to “perform” wellness—we focus on real tools, reflective conversations, and the kind of honesty that creates actual change. I meet you where you are, without judgment, and help you build clarity, confidence, and coping strategies that align with your life.

What you can expect from me

Clients leave sessions feeling seen, supported, and with a clearer sense of direction. You can expect to gain insight into what’s been holding you back, shift the thought patterns or habits keeping you stuck, and walk away with tools that support growth between sessions. Most importantly, you'll have a space that’s consistent, grounded, and fully yours.
