Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, identity concerns, and life transitions. I have a warm, open-minded, and direct style, and I create a space where you can be honest without judgment. I have experience supporting diverse communities, including Black women, Caribbean families, immigrants, LGBTQ+ individuals, people managing chronic health conditions etc.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and solution-oriented. I help you understand your patterns, connect the dots, and build practical tools you can apply right away. I integrate CBT, Mindfulness-Based strategies, Narrative Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, Psychodynamic therapy, ACT, CPT, Strength-Based Therapy, and Solution-Focused approaches. I balance insight with action, supporting you emotionally while challenging you with care when needed.

What you can expect from me

Your first session will be grounding, supportive, and focused on getting to know your needs. We’ll explore what brought you to therapy, clarify your goals, and identify the immediate changes you want to see in your life. Clients often leave feeling heard, relieved, and more secure about their next steps. Together, we’ll create a plan that feels realistic, empowering, and tailored to your pace.
