Great to meet you!

Life can be overwhelming, and sometimes you may find yourself struggling to manage your emotions, navigate relationships, set boundaries, or simply make sense of what you're feeling. Whether you're a teenager navigating the challenges of growing up, an adult balancing life's responsibilities, or someone experiencing anxiety, depression, or difficult life transitions, I want you to know that you don't have to figure everything out on your own.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I'm passionate about helping people better understand themselves, recognize patterns in their thoughts and behaviors, and develop healthier ways of responding to life's challenges. My approach is warm, relatable, honest, and rooted in compassion. I believe in creating a safe, judgment-free space where you can be yourself, express your feelings openly, and feel genuinely heard and understood.

One thing you'll learn about me is that I believe your feelings are valid, but your choices are yours. I will meet you where you are, but I'll also encourage you to reflect, take accountability, and recognize what's within your control. Therapy isn't just about talking through problems; it's about gaining insight, developing practical skills, and making intentional changes.

My philosophy is simple: Pause. Process. Proceed. Together, we'll work toward understanding your emotions, navigating challenges, and helping you become more intentional, accountable, and confident in how you approach life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and person-centered, strengths-based techniques. Drawing from my experience working with adolescents and adults facing anxiety, depression, family conflict, and life transitions, I tailor each session to your individual needs. Through CBT, we'll identify unhelpful thought patterns and explore how they influence your emotions and behaviors. I use Motivational Interviewing to help you work through challenges, explore your motivation for change, and build confidence. Sessions also include guided reflection, problem-solving, and practical coping strategies to strengthen emotional regulation, self-awareness, and accountability. My goal is to help you make intentional choices and create lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be a relaxed, conversational experience focused on getting to know you. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, explore your concerns, review your background, and identify your goals. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, so there's no pressure to share everything at once. You can move at your own pace, ask questions, and express what you're comfortable discussing. My goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you feel heard, supported, and comfortable beginning your therapeutic journey.
