Tony Thomas

Hello my name is Tony, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a proud military veteran. I am based in Memphis, TN and working with clients statewide through telehealth. I have experience working with adults, children, and families of diverse backgrounds. I specialize in a number of therapy modalities including CBT and DBT. I love hearing client’s unique stories and walking with them through whatever life brings their way. Let me help you get to the root of your issues!

I utilize a psychoanalytic approach to help clients problem solve. I provide psychotherapy to individuals who are finding themselves stuck, lacking meaning or purpose, and/or struggling internally with depression, anxiety, trauma, or difficult and unhelpful thoughts, and who are seeking active, goal-oriented therapy to help them get moving in a consistent direction in their life.

My communication style is calm, personable and I value each client's individualism while creating a safe space to express emotions. I perceive therapy as a collaborative process where concerns, issues, objectives, and goals are openly discussed. My goal is to help you be the best version of yourself!
