My approach to therapy is our past holds the keys to what we are struggling with today!

I have a Masters in mental health counseling. I have experience working with adolescents and adults. I have previously worked at an acute inpatient psychiatric facility for children and adolescents. I have been in private practice for almost 7 years, and offer individual, family/group, and couples counseling.

I work with clients with many various needs such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, family and relationship conflict, self-worth, marriage/divorce conflict, body positivity, racial/cultural identity, grief, etc...

Some things we can not control which can cause tension in our lives, however, I feel we can learn to better manage how we respond and react to situations. I feel it's important not be distracted by "symptoms," but rather focus on the "root." My goal is to provide a safe space for you to be your true authentic self.

I believe in order for true healing to begin, we must first be willing to be open and honest with ourselves. Within all of us lies hope, strength, the need for connection, and feeling understood. My personal mottos are "it's never too late to change," and every day is a fresh start/a new opportunity.
