Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults carrying the effects of trauma, military service, anxiety, or depression. You may be used to pushing through while feeling on edge, disconnected, weighed down by the past, or unsure how to move forward. I have extensive experience supporting Veterans and people affected by military sexual trauma, moral injury, PTSD, and other painful experiences. I also work with adults facing relationship concerns, anger, stress, self-doubt, and major life transitions. You deserve a place to make sense of what you’ve been carrying and consider what you want next.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is warm, honest, and practical. We’ll make room for the hard parts, notice patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and work on beliefs and responses that no longer serve you. I tailor our work to your needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all plan. Depending on your goals, I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Written Exposure Therapy (WET), EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, and DBT-informed skills. You can expect reflection, useful tools, and space for humor as we build greater understanding and confidence.

What you can expect from me

You don’t need to arrive with a perfect explanation or a plan. We’ll begin with what has been weighing on you, what you’d like to change, and what would help you feel more supported. I’ll listen, ask questions, and work with you to identify a starting point that feels manageable. You can expect an open conversation—not pressure to share more than you’re ready to—and you’ll have a clearer sense of possible next steps. It’s okay to feel uncertain about starting; showing up is enough for us to begin.
