As a Cognitive Behavioral therapist, I believe our thoughts control our feelings, directly influencing our actions. Sometimes, our thoughts are influenced by the people around us, societal standards, and/or past experiences. To change our actions, it is important to manage our thoughts. With cultural sensitivity and awareness, I use trauma-informed practices to help you understand how your thoughts might be affecting your progress towards your goals.

As a certified school counselor and licensed professional counselor with supervisory recognition, I have been counseling children, adolescents, college students, and parents for over 20 years.
