Great to meet you!

I am Tonya Schour, LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist). I have primarily worked with people who struggle with trauma (PTSD), anxiety, grief, relationship issues, and domestic violence.

Many, if not all, people would benefit greatly from therapy. Even if it’s just to have a neutral person to discuss everyday issues with. Do not walk through these mental battles alone. There are many, affordable resources available to us today and they should be utilized.

My approach to therapy

By using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques and direct communication, I have helped many clients overcome difficulties and incorporate positive changes in their lives. I believe our mental health is every bit as important as our physical health and requires consistency to make lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to take away some "homework" and thoughts to mull over between each session. I always try to challenge your thinking and shift your perspective.
