Tonya Stephens

I am bringing my 20+ year nursing career to my psychiatric mental health practice. I have worked with patients who have various mental health diagnoses. I earned my MSN in 2013 when I began teaching nursing students at a local university. In 2024 I began practicing as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I specialize in gender affirming care, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, anxiety and depression. In my free time I enjoy traveling.

I believe that therapy and medicine go hand in hand and I believe in treating the person holistically. I have completed extensive training with QueerCME and have ability to treat transgender patients with gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT).
