Great to meet you!

You can visit my website as well: www.holistic-therapist.com

I'm a trauma-informed, fully-licensed independent clinical social worker, who is also a certified holistic counselor, and a certified Brainspotting practitioner. Over the years I have worked in a variety of settings and with a variety of people, but what I've found lights me up most, is working with women who desire to go from just surviving to fully thriving. So now I work with women who struggle with functional anxiety and/or functional depression, and still show up in spaces as leaders and caregivers for others. I also work with women who have experienced gender-based violence including but not limited to: intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and childhood sexual abuse and desire the healing that they are so very deserving of. I believe it's possible to let go of the patterns and responses that no longer serve us, and that while healing is not an easy process, it is possible and totally worth it. My clients are worth it!

My approach to therapy

As a holistic therapist, I believe we are already whole beings and believe in giving individualized, integrated care and compassion to the mind, body, and spirit. And I recognize that the incredible women I work with already have many of the resources and solutions they need within and are often already using these superpowers to help others. Together, we can draw out their superpowers and have them use them more consistently on themselves, as well as develop some new coping tools along the way.

What you can expect from me

In my work with my clients, I use client-centered and strengths-based approaches. I bring empathy, warmth, collaboration, validation, authenticity, and some humor to the therapy space that we share.

Prior to our first session together, my clients typically complete a holistic intake document and some some screening tools to help me have a better understand if and how depression and anxiety symptoms currently show up in their lives. In our first session together, we'll start to narrow in on what they'd most like to work on, and how we can do so together. First sessions can also often help determine if there's a good therapeutic fit. It's essential that people get the best possible care that they can.
