Great to meet you!

When you begin counseling, you can expect a space where you are able to slow down, feel heard, and talk honestly about what is happening in your life without fear of judgment. Therapy is designed to help you make sense of what you are feeling, understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and begin building practical tools for moving forward.

Together, we will work at a pace that feels manageable while focusing on the concerns that matter most to you. You may be navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, major life transitions, emotional overwhelm, or questions about identity and self-confidence. Counseling can help you better understand yourself, strengthen coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and feel more confident in the choices you make.

As a Texas Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor (LPC-S) and owner of Hope Haven Counseling, PLLC, my goal is to help you move from feeling overwhelmed or stuck toward greater clarity, confidence, healing, and hope.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and practical. I help clients understand the patterns beneath their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building tools they can use in everyday life. My work is trauma-informed and tailored to each client’s needs, with a focus on anxiety, grief, life transitions, emotional regulation, and personal growth. When desired, I can also incorporate Christian faith and values into the counseling process.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a space to simply begin. You can share what has been weighing on you, what you hope to change, and what you need most right now. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment where you feel comfortable being yourself and where there is no pressure to have everything figured out. Together, we will gently identify your goals and begin creating a path forward that feels supportive and manageable.
