Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with a master’s degree in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship and family struggles, and mood/personality disorders. I also have a special interest in working with people affected by suicide loss, sexual trauma, and spiritual concerns. I believe people make sense in the context of their stories, and I want therapy to be a place where you feel understood rather than judged.

My approach to therapy

I’m warm, curious, and conversational, and I believe therapy should feel like something we do together. Rather than asking, “What’s wrong with you?” I’m interested in understanding what happened, how you learned to cope, and what may no longer be working for you. I use approaches such as EMDR, parts work, and attachment-based therapy to help you better understand yourself and heal from what still hurts. Faith can also be included in our work if that is important to you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for me to get to know you and understand what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what has been happening, what feels most important right now, and what you hope will change. You don’t have to tell me everything at once or come in knowing exactly what your goals are. We’ll figure out where to begin together and move at a pace that feels manageable.
