Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and bring over 30 years of experience in the mental health field, including 11 years in private practice. My background includes work in residential treatment facilities, public and alternative schools, psychiatric units, and outpatient settings, which has given me a well-rounded perspective on the diverse challenges individuals and families face.

I work with individuals, couples, and families, supporting teens, young adults, and adults. I specialize in anxiety, depression, and behavioral concerns, and have extensive experience helping clients with anger management, coping skills, emotional regulation, and self-esteem. I also work with issues related to family conflict, peer and relationship challenges, life transitions, school difficulties, and men’s issues.

In addition, I have experience supporting clients navigating more complex concerns such as oppositional defiance (ODD), self-harming behaviors, suicidal ideation, and teen violence. My approach is thoughtful, steady, and grounded in creating a safe, calm environment where clients feel respected and understood.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process. Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or seeking greater clarity and balance in your life, I will meet you where you are and work alongside you toward meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should focus on creating a confidential space where people can speak openly, better understand themselves, and feel genuinely heard. Rather than trying to "fix" anyone, I work collaboratively to help individuals build clarity, confidence, and practical ways to navigate life's challenges.

What you can expect from me

Walking into your first session (or through tele-health), you can expect a space that feels calm, welcoming, and free of judgment. I aim to create an environment where you can settle in at your own pace—there’s no pressure to have everything figured out or to share more than you’re ready for. My approach is warm, attentive, and collaborative. I’ll listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and work with you to understand what brings you in and what you’re hoping for. Book with me through my calendar to schedule a session!
