Torri Taylor-Spencer

Welcome to my practice, my name is Torri and I am a Board Certified (BC) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) - (Advanced Generalist) from West Coast University (2020). I have been a nurse for over a decade and I am nationally certified and California state licensed to assess, diagnose, treat (including prescribing medications and providing psychotherapy), and evaluate those suffering from mental health issues across the lifespan.

My clinical background consists of inpatient geriatric psychiatry, neonatal intensive care, inpatient rehabilitative care, long-term skilled nursing, adult inpatient neuroscience, outpatient trauma-related disorders, and outpatient post-incarceration psychiatric care.

My focus areas include treating marginalized communities like BIPOC, adolescents, the perinatal community, and treating depressive & anxiety disorders.

I help those with depression, anxiety, and sleep issues, who are seeking a return to a more positive emotional state with increased focus and productivity, better sleep, and more fulfillment and joy in their lives. I offer patient-centered holistic care that includes a unique blend of treatment modalities including medication, herbal and plant medicine, vitamin therapies, talk therapy, and lifestyle coaching for optimal wellness.
