Great to meet you!

I am a board certified family psychiatric nurse practitioner. My education includes a B.S. in Psychology from Tennessee State University, an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University, and an MSN from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. I have worked in the field of mental health in some capacity for the past 20 years, and specifically as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner since 2008. I utilize a natural, caring approach to promote well-being in the clients that I serve.

Over the years, I have gained experienced serving many types of individuals from different races, religions, political points of view, sexual orientations, and socio-economic levels. I have learned that we all pretty much are the same – we all love in some form, we all laugh, in some cases we cry, and there are sometimes when we emotionally hurt. My goal is to assist individuals in dealing with that hurt and empowering them to grow internally, spiritually, and mentally.

My approach to therapy

Humanistic, caring, collaborative approach utilizing evidence-based care to promote health.

What you can expect from me

Knowing that they have been heard and that I have made my best clinical judgment based on their symptoms, my training, evidence research, and risks versus benefits.
