Great to meet you!

I am a kind, caring and understanding person who places value on my love for all people. I believe all people matter regardless of who they are. I value providing a safe, warm, non-judgmental, direct, and compassionate space by actively listening and providing support and guidance to clients so they can become the best version of themselves. The most important qualities we desire as humans are to feel valued, heard and respected. This is exactly what I model.

My approach to therapy

What makes me special is that it is my desire for clients to discover how past and current experiences influence their behaviors, thoughts, and feelings in order to bring about long-term change and healing. My inspiration lies in helping individuals live purpose-filled lives and to serve them creating healthy outcomes and self-discovery. I am also funny, warm, an excellent listener, empathetic, honest, trustworthy, and kind. These are the comments my clients have used to describe me, which I treasure.

What you can expect from me

Feeling nervous about your first therapy session? That’s completely normal. All of us feel that way when we are meeting with someone new and talking about things that are very personal. I believe therapy is meant to be a safe and supportive space.

Your first session with me while be about getting started and building a strong foundation and I am here to help you feel heard, respected, and comfortable.

Our first session is about connection, so we will cover introductions, discuss confidentiality, review your intake forms, discuss your therapy goals, and I will review my therapy approach. We will meet for about an hour. During this time, we will decide if we are a good fit and if we both want to move forward in working together.
