Great to meet you!

Welcome to my page. I’m a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges. Since earning my master’s degree from NYU, I’ve been dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate space where clients can explore their stories and begin the process of healing.

My work primarily focuses on supporting individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, and other difficult emotional states. I also work closely with clients who are struggling with relationship patterns, family stress, major life transitions, or difficult decisions.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in a psychodynamic framework, complemented by cognitive-behavioral techniques. I place strong emphasis on the mind-body connection and approach each client through a trauma-informed lens. I pay close attention to how past experiences can shape emotional responses and influence how we move through the world.

In addition, I specialize in grief counseling, offering support to those coping with loss and seeking a path forward with meaning and resilience.

My approach to therapy

My approach is direct, compassionate, and collaborative. In our work together, you can expect honesty delivered with kindness. During a typical first session, we’ll explore what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the process. As we continue, and always at a pace that feels right for you, we’ll begin to explore your life history and how past experiences may be shaping your present. Throughout, I’ll offer thoughtful insight and practical feedback you can apply outside of sessions. Importantly, I welcome humor in therapy and always strive to recognize the resilience and strength of the human spirit.

What you can expect from me

I take a client-centered, nonjudgmental approach, viewing each person through a lens of respect and openness. I recognize that every client brings a unique life story shaped by their individual experiences and identities. In our work together, we’ll explore how your history has influenced your present, identify patterns or roadblocks that may be holding you back, and examine the ways you relate to others and navigate complex situations. My goal is to support you in engaging with the world in a way that feels authentic, empowered, and sustainable.
