Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 5 years of clinical experience and a Master of Social Work from the University of Houston. Over my career I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults; today my practice focuses on individual therapy for adults. I support clients experiencing difficulties with anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, stress, anger, self-esteem, relationship issues, family concerns, women's issues, and the emotional weight of chronic conditions. I have a genuine passion for helping clients reach their potential by learning healthier ways of navigating life's stressors and managing emotions. Everyone has a story, and your story matters - I strive to create a warm and caring environment where you feel respected, heard, and supported.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, strengths-based, and tailored to each client. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and attachment-based and motivational interviewing techniques, depending on what fits your needs and goals. In session, we will work on practical tools for managing anxiety and depression, processing trauma and grief, strengthening relationships, and building healthier ways to cope with stress — always at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my focus is on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We will talk about your story, your current concerns, and what you hope will change through our work together. There is no pressure to have everything figured out — my goal is for you to leave feeling respected, heard, and hopeful about the path ahead. Everyone has a story, and your story matters.
