Great to meet you!

I am an LCSW and experienced therapist with a clinical focus on intergenerational trauma and its effects on individuals, families, and long-standing behavioral patterns. My work centers on helping clients understand how trauma is transmitted across generations and how it influences the nervous system, emotional responses, and core beliefs. I use mindfulness, CBT, and DBT to support clients in calming physiological stress responses, challenging negative thoughts, and developing healthier coping strategies. I approach treatment with collaboration, curiosity, and compassion.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in understanding how intergenerational trauma shapes the way people think, feel, and relate to others. I help clients explore the patterns that have been passed down through families and how these experiences influence the nervous system, emotional responses, and core beliefs. Together, we work to calm the body through mindfulness, build insight into trauma’s impact, and challenge negative thoughts using CBT and DBT techniques. I believe healing happens through collaboration, curiosity, and compassion, and I support clients in creating new patterns that feel safer, healthier, and more aligned with who they want to be.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is focused on understanding your story, your goals, and how trauma—especially intergenerational trauma—may be affecting your nervous system and daily life. We’ll explore what you’re experiencing now, how stress shows up in your body, and begin introducing mindfulness and grounding tools. I’ll also explain how CBT and DBT can help you challenge negative thoughts and build emotional regulation skills. The session moves at your pace and is centered on creating safety, clarity, and connection.
