Great to meet you!

As a therapist, my primary focus is to establish and maintain a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, understanding, and respect. I enjoy my work as a therapist immensely and am honored to support my clients as they work to accomplish their goals. My personal life experiences and advocacy work, bring a unique perspective to counseling. This includes working with adolescents and adults across an assorted range of mental health disorders such as Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, Grief Disorders and co-occurring disorders related to chronic illness such as Lyme Disease. My therapeutic techniques include Strength Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy.

I have a B.A. from the American College of London and graduated from Fairfield University with an M.A in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

I have worked in community services, within a private agency and clinical settings.

My approach to therapy

I value meeting the client with empathy, kindess and regard with a focus on where they are presently struggling. I provide a judgment free and safe space in session.

What you can expect from me

I offer free 15 minute consultation prior to first session.

My first session with you will include an assessment that allows us both to gain insight into problems and look for solutions to help with improving quality of life. We will set mutually agreed upon goals and set up session times moving forward. I am here to help you move forward.
