I'm a client-centered psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with more than 5 years of professional nursing experience in mental health.

I provide various clinical services, including genetic testing, for adolescent and adult populations with chronic mental illnesses.

I earned my BSN degree from Sam Houston State University and MSN degree from Walden University.

I strive to treat people the way that I’d want to be treated. I patiently and actively listen to my clients’ stories, clarify and reflect on their concerns, validate their feelings, and acknowledge the efforts they make to overcome life challenges. I also utilize a whole-health approach, such as evaluating my clients’ mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health and addressing these to help restore and maintain their overall health and wellness.

My clients can expect to leave our sessions feeling heard, validated, and empowered. My clients should additionally feel that they received appropriate comprehensive psychiatric assessments, management of their psychotropic medications, and follow-up evaluations to determine tolerance of and benefit from their psychiatric medications.
