Great to meet you!

Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted from trying to handle everything on their own. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling like you've lost your sense of direction, therapy can help you better understand yourself and create meaningful change.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel comfortable being yourself without fear of judgment. Together, we'll identify the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and develop tools you can use in everyday life.

I graduated from The University of South Carolina with a Master's of Social Work degree and I've worked as a therapist, a psychiatric social worker, and in forensic settings.

I work with people facing anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, grief, burnout, relationship issues, family conflict, and major life changes. I draw from evidence-based approaches and tailor therapy to your individual needs because there is no one-size-fits-all path to healing.

You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Sometimes the hardest part is simply taking the first step. If you're looking for a therapist who will listen with empathy, challenge you when needed, and support you as you work toward lasting change, I'd be honored to work with you.

My approach to therapy

My toolkit is broad because the people I work with rarely fit a single mold. CBT and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) help identify and shift the thought patterns driving anxiety, depression, and anger. Trauma-Focused CBT addresses specific trauma responses that affect how you function today. Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) builds the awareness and regulation that make the rest of the work stick.

For families and relational patterns, I draw on Family Focused Therapy, CBT Family, and Psychoeducational Family approaches — because healing rarely happens in isolation from the people around you. Motivational Interviewing guides how I work when ambivalence about change is part of the picture.

Everything adapts to you. I start from your strengths and build from there.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a conversation about what's brought you here, what you've been navigating, and what you're hoping changes. I'll ask questions to understand your full picture — not just the presenting concern.

By the end, we'll have a starting sense of direction and what our work together can look like. There's no pressure to have it figured out before you walk in — that's what we're here to do together.
