Great to meet you!

I built my practice around the people who are often overlooked in mental health care — those working in corrections, healthcare, and agriculture; women processing trauma they've never had space to name; caregivers running on empty; rural Ohioans who've had few options close to home.

I bring a background that's genuinely different: seven years inside the prison system, a Farm-Stress Certification from Ohio State University, and training as a Certified Reiki Master. I hold an LPCC-S license — Ohio's supervisory-level clinical credential — and I'm completing my EMDR certification for trauma-focused work.

What that means for you is a therapist who's seen complexity, has the tools to meet it, and won't flinch at what you bring into the room.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative — I don't use one framework because people don't fit one framework. Depending on what you're carrying, I draw on CBT to address thought patterns, EMDR for trauma processing, Emotion-Focused Therapy to work with the feelings underneath the surface, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy to build awareness and regulation.

I'm also a Certified Reiki Master. For clients open to it, integrating energy-based and somatic practices alongside traditional therapy can support deeper healing — particularly for trauma, chronic stress, and grief.

Everything is tailored to you. We'll build your plan together, not hand you someone else's template.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting oriented — your story, what's brought you here, and what matters most to you right now. I'll listen more than I talk. There's no rush to cover everything, and no pressure to have it figured out before we begin.

By the end, we'll have a sense of where to focus and what working together will look like. I work with a lot of people who've been in high-demand roles their whole lives — so I also know the first step of asking for help isn't a small thing. I don't take it for granted.
