Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up as you are—without judgment and without feeling like you have to fit into a one-size-fits-all approach. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 20 years of experience in behavioral health, and I bring warmth, creativity, humor, and genuine connection into my work with clients.

My approach is integrative and strengths-based, drawing from CBT, DBT, expressive arts therapy, play therapy, mindfulness, movement, and nature-based interventions. I have extensive experience supporting children, teens, and families, including individuals who are autistic, neurodivergent, or navigating developmental differences. I also work with adults experiencing anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss, relationship challenges, boundaries, and the everyday stressors that can leave us feeling overwhelmed or disconnected from ourselves.

Most importantly, I want my clients to feel seen, heard, and accepted. Therapy with me is collaborative—we’ll explore what works for you and build on the strengths you already have while developing new tools for growth, healing, and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be as unique as the person sitting in front of me. My approach is warm, collaborative, creative, and strengths-based, with a focus on creating a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself without judgment.

I use an integrative approach that may include CBT, DBT-informed skills, expressive arts, play-based interventions, mindfulness, movement, and nature-based practices. Rather than relying on one specific method, I tailor therapy to your individual needs, personality, strengths, and goals.

I have extensive experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families, including individuals who are autistic, neurodivergent, or have developmental differences. I recognize that not everyone processes emotions or communicates in the same way, so therapy doesn't always have to look like sitting across from someone and talking for an hour. Sometimes healing happens through creativity, movement, play, nature, metaphor, or simply having a safe place to slow down and feel understood.

Above all, my goal is to meet you where you are, honor what you have already survived and learned along the way and help you discover tools that genuinely fit your life.

What you can expect from me

Taking the first step toward therapy takes courage, and my hope is that our initial meeting acts as a quiet, reassuring refuge where you can step away from the heavy demands of daily stress. Your first session is all about building safety, trust, and connection within a calm, non-judgmental environment. We will gently explore your history, symptoms, and what brings you to therapy at a natural, comfortable pace—there is absolutely no pressure to have everything figured out at once. Together, we will look at your current strengths and challenges to co-create a flexible, client-centered treatment plan that fits your life. Because I offer a hybrid model of both telehealth and community-based care, we will also discuss what environment feels most supportive and effective for your unique healing journey.
