Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Traci, and I’ve always found the “about me” part of getting to know someone a little difficult. How do you put a whole life, a career, and the heart behind what you do into a few paragraphs?

I can tell you that I have a beautiful life today—but getting here took a lot of work. I know what it feels like to struggle, to feel stuck, and to lose hope. Those experiences have deeply shaped who I am, both personally and as a therapist.

I became a therapist because I believe people deserve the opportunity to enjoy their lives again—to reconnect with themselves, discover who they are, and find hope even when life feels overwhelming. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe being honest, understood without judgment, and supported as you navigate whatever brought you through my door.

My professional background includes my LCSW while specializing in mental health and substance abuse.

Therapy is not about becoming someone different. To me, it’s about finding your way back to yourself—and sometimes discovering parts of yourself you didn’t know were there.

I would be honored to walk alongside you in that process.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy begins with meeting you exactly where you are. I believe you deserve a space where you can be honest, curious, and fully yourself without judgment. At the same time, therapy is also a place for growth, so I won’t be afraid to gently challenge the beliefs, patterns, and narratives that may be keeping you stuck.

My work is grounded in psychodynamic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and trauma-informed care. I’m interested in understanding not only what you are experiencing today, but also how your past experiences, relationships, and different parts of yourself may be influencing the way you see yourself and navigate the world.

One of my favorite things to see in therapy is curiosity. When you become curious about yourself rather than critical of yourself, something begins to shift. I believe that curiosity creates room for insight, self-compassion, and meaningful change.

My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can better understand yourself, challenge the stories that no longer serve you, and ultimately feel more connected to who you are and the life you want to create.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to get to know you. I want to learn about your interests, what brings you to therapy, your history, and what you hope to get out of this experience.

I believe the first session is about more than simply gathering information—it’s about beginning to build a relationship and creating a space where you feel comfortable being yourself. We’ll take the time to get to know one another, talk about what’s been going on in your life, and start exploring what you need and where you’d like to go from here. :)

There’s no pressure to have everything figured out before you walk through the door. We’ll start exactly where you are.
