Great to meet you!

Hello! I’m Traci (she/her), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia. I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families since 2011, and I’m deeply passionate about helping people create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. My areas of specialization include anxiety disorders, maternal mental health, postpartum depression and other perinatal challenges, perfectionism, codependency, burnout, body image concerns, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. I also work with parents to reflect on their own upbringing, helping them develop healthier approaches to parenting while improving their relationship with themselves.

My approach to therapy

In my work, I integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to each person’s unique needs, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT), and trauma-informed practices. I also draw on feminist and systems frameworks, along with somatic interventions and mindfulness-based strategies, when appropriate. As an advocate for personal autonomy and social justice, I support and affirm all faiths and spiritualities and am committed to being an ally to marginalized communities. I believe in the inherent worth of every individual and that there is no "wrong" way to have a body. I strive to be anti-racist through ongoing learning and unlearning, and I firmly believe in the healing power of community.
