Great to meet you!

Howdy! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in the state of Texas. I earned my BA degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University (Whoop!) and my M.Ed. degree in School Counseling with Professional Certification in Counseling and Development from Lamar University.

I have primarily provided counseling to adolescents and individuals with a wide variety of behavioral, emotional, and relational issues including anxiety, depression, self worth, self harm, suicidal ideation, substance abuse, and trauma, as well as academic, college, and career counseling.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I like to meet each client where they are and apply appropriate therapies, methods, and strategies as needed. I use an empathic approach that empowers and motivates my client in the therapeutic process. I believe that each of my clients has the ability to reach their goals and their full potential. Because of the varying needs of clients, it is sometimes necessary to be diverse in the techniques used.

Occasionally, I will ask that you complete homework assignments, as I believe that the work we do in session will be most effective if implemented in your life outside of therapy.

What you can expect from me

It is my goal to create a welcoming and safe environment where we will work together to empower you to reach your goals!
