Great to meet you!

I received my M.Ed., in Counselor Education from Montana State University and have been practicing as a licensed therapist since 2014. I focus on individuals who are struggling to cope with life's stressors, including unexpected transitions, relationship issues, domestic violence, grief, and traumatic experiences. I have worked in many different settings including schools, inpatient facilities, the justice system, shelters, intensive day treatment, outpatient, and private practice.

My approach to therapy

My favorite part of being a therapist is hearing your story. I believe that people come to therapy with a problem and I know that the answer lies within them - I just help to shine the light in all the seemingly dark places in order to find that answer. I have helped many individuals and families through challenges, crisis, and even trauma using Person-Centered Therapy. In particular I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults, as well as those involved in helping professions.

What you can expect from me

Person-Centered Therapy is a non-directive approach to therapy; I am your guide and source of support. I come from a place of non-judgment and genuine empathy during each session. By focusing on you in a positive and inclusive way, I believe you will gain more insight into whatever difficult situation you are facing. My goal is to maximize your ability to resolve this situation with your own unique and innate strengths and abilities. I am here to encourage positive change within you.
