Great to meet you!

Psychiatric nursing is my passion. Through evidence-based practices, I endeavor to make a difference in my community by providing excellent patient-centered care. I acquired my Master's Degree in Psychiatric Nursing in 2020, and I love learning new ways that enhance my career and knowledge base. I worked as an RN for twelve years before returning to acquire my Master's Degree. I take pride in my career and strive to be the best provider and advocate for my patients. I am a firm believer in listening to my patients and prioritizing their interests and concerns in planning their care. I consider it an honor to provide medication management and individualized treatment plans for my patients.

My approach to therapy

Applying mental health services involves diverse, often integrated approaches ranging from clinical therapies (CBT, DBT, psychodynamic) to holistic, community-based, and digital interventions. Key methods include personalized treatment plans, crisis support, peer support, and, recently, telehealth and creative arts therapies. These services aim for recovery through comprehensive, patient-centered care.

What you can expect from me

I collect a detailed psych history, a thorough assessment, screening/diagnostic testing, and a medication history, and ask whether the patient is allergic to any medications. I try to build rapport with my patients, so they feel comfortable discussing personal details with me, which helps me provide appropriate treatment. I enjoy getting to know my patients and listening to their concerns so we can build a trusting, honest relationship. Their mental health, well-being, and safety are a priority!
