Tracy Baker-Batten is a GA native who is a wife, mother, daughter and sister that has over 25 years of counseling experience in substance abuse, mental health, trauma, grief, and anger management.

She been trained in several modalities including Cognitive Behavior Treatment, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Care, Crisis Intervention and Person -Centered Treatment.

I have over 20 years of experience working with clients from a variety of backgrounds. I use humor and laughter as a way to help build rapport. I understand that is never what is wrong with a person, but what happened to person that helps a person to reach their personal treatment goals.

I love working with adult clients who feeling stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their life.

My approach to therapy

Mrs. Batten values and understands that every person is different and so are their needs. She is open and willing to help clients and counselors to build on their strengths and focus on creating goals that support a pro-social way of life. She enthusiastically looks forward to being a part of helping someone in increasing their personal level of self-efficacy. Her counseling and personal motto is: Difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations.
