Great to meet you!

Working as a psychotherapist for over 25 years, I have worked with many concerns, love working with people, helping them to find their path, and supporting them in meeting their goals. I am a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor and have been Certified as a (CADC) Certified Addictions Counselor, School Social Worker (to do in school assessments) and am Certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Asking for help can be hard and I do my best to make it easy once we start.

My approach to therapy

  • Every person is unique so it is important for me to understand my clients’ needs. I use a wide variety of therapeutic styles. I get to know my clients and establish a relationship based on trust, respect and communication. My goal is to listen, offer perspective, offer skills and tools and help people learn themselves.

What you can expect from me

As a therapist my goal is to help clients' navigate the issues they are facing. I want them to know that they are in charge, but not alone. I am someone who listens and offers advice, insights, and a different perspective but I ultimately respect a client’s autonomy in making their own decisions. I am interactive and will take the lead when needed. My role is to provide guidance, exploration and learning. Often even just beginning to receive support in a safe space can provide a huge relief.
