Great to meet you!

Are you feeling lonely, overwhelmed, helpless? You’re not alone; I am here to help. I am a licensed psychologist (FL, TX, AZ, CA and IA), a licensed marriage and family therapist (FL), and an international parenting, divorce, and coparenting coach. I have been working with single adults, couples, and families for 20+ years. I have worked extensively with individuals who have challenges with trauma, and with families in conflict. If my availability doesn't fit your schedule, visit my website (family-options.com), and send me a message.

My approach to therapy

My primary therapeutic approach is cognitive behavioral and solution-focused (for individuals) and Gottman Method (for couples); however, my client-centered approach allows me to chose the best blend of therapeutic modalities to best meet your needs. My therapeutic style is strengths-based, meaning that I will work with you to identify your strengths and the strategies that have worked well for you in the past, and nurture those skills to their highest potential. I may "push" you out of your comfort zone at times in order to challenge you to meet the goals you have set for yourself, but I will provide you with a safe environment and will always be empathetic and patient and allow you to set the pace.

I provide client-centered therapy rooted in deep respect for each person’s unique experience. I believe that meaningful change happens in the context of a safe, nonjudgmental relationship, where clients feel truly seen and heard. I view therapy as a collaborative partnership—one where your voice is central, your goals shape our work, and your feedback is not only welcome but essential. My role is to support your growth and help you reconnect with your own inner wisdom.

The following services are outside my scope of practice: Services such as evaluations for disability, unemployment, or medical absence from work; CPS (child protective services) evaluation or treatment; unemployment evaluations; documentation of medical absence from work; emotional support animal letters; forensic (court-ordered) services, or similar services. If you book an appointment with me and then ask for these services, I will complete an initial diagnostic session and refer to a higher level of care to allow for a more comprehensive assessment of your needs. What you can expect from me

I am committed to getting to know you as an individual, and working hard to earn your trust and discover exactly what changes you hope to make in your life. Through our interactions, I hope that you will find a safe place where we can explore your concerns and develop a plan that will have you actively pursuing your goals and living the life you want. Together, we can undo false belief systems and unhealthy habits. It's my honor to help you create the life that you want.

While it's natural to want relief from uncomfortable feelings, my focus is on helping you build lasting peace of mind—not just quick fixes. That means we may gently explore deeper patterns, even when it feels challenging, because that’s often where the real healing happens. Together, we’ll work toward the kind of growth that supports your long-term well-being, clarity, and self-trust.

While I am credentialed with several insurance plans, I am not always able to accept new clients under every plan at all times. Acceptance of new clients depends on current availability, clinical fit, and practice capacity.

If I am unable to accept services under a particular insurance plan, I will make reasonable efforts to provide referral options when appropriate.
